Working from First Principles

At Audio Fort, we start from a deep understanding of rhythm, color, musicality, emotion, and psychology and set out to fulfill your creative needs. Our engineering & mixing leans heavily on psychoacoustic principles to create enormous space, depth, and feel. Our visual projects operate from a deep understanding of color theory, motion, and storytelling. And while we love classic sounds, we believe that every project is different and requires a fresh approach.

PHILLIP BROSTE

Engineer & Producer

Phil has been in the studio since he was a kid, sitting in on sessions with his father in Bemidji, MN. His was formally educated as an audio technician, sound designer, and filmmaker at the University of Southern California and has worked in professional broadcast media for over two decades.
